Magnolia ISD

With education being a priority for a strong community, Magnolia ISD is dedicated to becoming the best school district in Texas. Rapid community growth in Montgomery County has brought increased student enrollment in Magnolia ISD. During a three-year period of time, the district opened eight new campuses to meet those needs. The academic programs for Magnolia ISD students continue to succeed with one campus receiving an Exemplary rating and seven receiving a Recognized rating. Magnolia ISD is one of the fastest growing districts in the state of Texas. The district has approximately 1200 employees. In the current school year, there are 9,547 students in the district. The fast growth of the district has been met with excellent new facilities and with increased community support.

Magnolia Sixth Grade is a TEA Recognized campus serving with approximately 430 students. The School provides each student with the opportunity to gain knowledge, skills and values to become a more responsible student. Magnolia Sixth Grade recognizes the unique needs of its sixth grade students and makes the transition from elementary school to junior high school as smooth as possible.

Magnolia Junior High is a TEA Recognized campus serving approximately 850 seventh and eighth grade students. The school is dedicated to cultivating an atmosphere of academic excellence where all students are destined for success. Magnolia West High SchoolMagnolia West High School - Recognized

Magnolia West High School is a campus serving approximately 450 ninth and tenth grade students in Magnolia ISD. Magnolia West has three goals for students: become a learner for life, interact as a quality citizen for life, and maximize your talents. Laying the groundwork for a stronger community tomorrow, Magnolia West High School is working today to invigorate and prepare students for an immediate and bright future. Crown Ranch students in 9th through 12th grades attend Magnolia West High School for the 09/10 school year.

Navasota ISD

Education is one of the most important aspects of a strong community. Navasota ISD serves the growing areas of Navasota, Millican, Stoneham, Plantersville and Todd Mission and is poised to make the future bright for the students it serves.

With a low student to teacher ratio, 17/18 to 1, Navasota ISD offers students the time and attention they need to succeed. (The state requirement is 22 to 1.) Every teacher in the district has their own laptop and there are computer stations in every classroom, preparing students for the way the world works now.

This small district is growing and plans for another elementary school and junior high will become a reality in the next two to three years. The benefits of being part of a small, intimate district are countless and allow students the opportunity to be involved in as many activities as they wish: from athletics to band and choir and so much more.

District Information Navasota Independent School District encompasses 360 square miles and is located in the southern part of Grimes County with a population of more than 18,000. High Point Elementary - Exemplary

High Point Elementary is a TEA Recognized campus serving Navasota ISD PK-5th grade students living in the county. The district prides itself in its ability to work not only within its own campus, but within the district to provide the best education for all children. It takes a village to raise a child and it takes an entire school to ensure academic success. High Point offers many programs and opportunities for students to grow academically and socially.

Navasota Junior High

Navasota Junior High is a campus with a population of approximately 600 students which recognizes the unique needs of students in grades 6 through 8. It provides a full range of student-centered programs including pre-advanced placement courses, courses for high school credit, and a wide range of electives. NJH prides itself in offering a warm, supportive, and flexible environment which focuses on the individual needs of each young person. Students at NJH have the opportunity to develop skills and explore a variety of learning experiences while making the transition from elementary to high school.

Navasota High School

Offering the opportunities of a large school yet small enough for individualized attention, Navasota High School provides students with a host of opportunities for involvement while focusing on the development of the academic skills necessary for success upon graduation. Advanced Placement as well as Dual-Credit courses, offer students the ability to graduate from NHS with up to 24 college credit hours while participating in numerous academic and extracurricular events. The new state-of-the-art athletic complex, complete with a video scoreboard, not only enhances the strong athletic program but also provides access to technology training seldom experienced by students in a small school environment. Navasota High School is a large, Texas 3-A school.
